Create your own miniature world at this special terrarium building experience hosted at the DAAP Student Storefront at Findlay Market.

This design-forward edition of our terrarium workshop will be led by Gabby Ragusa and Herwens Horgan, bringing River Roots’ hands-on plant expertise into a creative studio setting.

On Saturday at 5 PM, join us for the official guided class where you’ll be walked step-by-step through designing and building your own self-sustaining ecosystem. Learn the fundamentals of layering, plant placement, and long-term care while crafting a living piece of art to take home.

Can’t make Saturday evening?

We’ll have walk-in build stations available Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM. Stop in anytime during those hours to create your terrarium at your own pace with guidance available on site.

Your ticket includes:

• Step-by-step instruction from experienced plant educators

• All materials and plants needed to build your terrarium

• A completed custom terrarium to take home
