Take Two is the creative vision of New Richmond, Ohio residents Amy and Phil Weiskittel. Their hobby name reflects the “two” of them breathing new life into upcycled glassware, bottles, and picture frames—transforming them into beautiful, water-tight 3D wall art and vases, giving each piece a second “take” on life.

In 2024, Amy’s piece “Tall Stacks” won the Artist Challenge at the Déjà Vu Art Show in Columbus, IN. Through intricate glass etching, she captured the steamboats of the early 19th century, offering a nostalgic glimpse into the past. Using repurposed juice glasses and a vintage Avon bottle, she reimagined the days of old along the great Ohio Riverbank.
